Stopped in on a Friday night for what we expected to be a quick drink before dinner. But waited over 30 minutes for just 2 drinks, despite there only being around 7–10 other customers in the bar. Unacceptable wait time. The espresso martini was okay, but the Irish coffee was disappointing. Both bartenders were not familiar with an Irish Coffee which seemed odd for a coffee bar…was then served what tasted like watered-down black coffee with a splash of whiskey instead of a traditional Irish coffee with cream. Overall, we left very disappointed.

Great spot! Stopped by for a Saturday birthday cocktail and ended up experiencing phenomenal service, drinks and a delicious carrot cake treat. Will be back very soon! Thank you to Dilan for an amazing visit!

1824 Cocktails & Coffee is an interesting spot to meet up with friends to grab a drink! I can only speak for the cocktails portion of the joint, but I'll say that I'm definitely interested in stopping back in to try out some coffee! I stopped in with a group on a weeknight recently, and even on a cold December night, we found that there was a small crowd inside, with groups of all sizes grabbing drinks and catching up. The inside of the establishment is a mix of super high ceilings and surpisingly limited seats. There are a fair amount of tables and bar seating as well, but just less than you'd expect by looking at it from the outside! There are a ton of TVs inside, so I could imagine this would be a good place to watch sports -- while we were there, they were playing a Lord of the Rings movie and we heard from the bartender that they often have movies of such high caliber playing! Now onto the important part - the cocktails! We tried a couple of cocktails from their menu and found that though they tasted good, they felt somewhat lacking in alcohol... either the bartender did an amazing job with the mix, or they were light pours. We were a relatively large group spending couple of hours here on a week night. There was only one bar tender attending everybody so it took a while to get our drinks but they tasted really great. The vibe is really cool though. They offer various seating options, location is great and menu offer non-alcoholic drinks as well

Four Stars - Creative Drinks, Cool Vibes, and Room to Refine I’d been eyeing 1824 Cocktails and Coffee online for a few weeks and finally made it in this past Sunday. First impressions? The space is beautiful—bright, modern, and super clean. Think tall ceilings, wood accents, and a cool blend of avant-garde and mid-century modern design. Bonus points for the incredibly comfortable seating, which you don’t always expect in places like this. When we first arrived, the staff was a bit overwhelming—everyone was talking at once, trying to explain how things work, and it felt a little chaotic. That said, once we settled in, the experience turned out great. We didn’t order any food this time, but stopped in for drinks and sat at the bar. The cocktail menu is creative and full of fun twists on the classics. I had an Old Fashioned with coffee liqueur that was smooth and perfectly balanced, and followed it up with a vodka-heavy cream and coffee liqueur drink that was equally delicious. They also have a small menu of food options—mostly apps—which I plan to check out next time. My only suggestion for improvement: give guests a clearer welcome and walkthrough of how things work when they f
